This letter is to notify you that items were stolen from our property; teenagers smoke, litter and have sex at our gazebo; cars were broken into in our parking lot; furniture was dumped on our property and the cost of removing it will be deducted from our budget.
All of the property on Timber Ridge Terrace is owned and paid for by us, the unit owners. These occurrences really are happening on our property. We have also experienced break-ins, expensive property damage from vandalism and even peeping-toms.
My name is Kevin Thomas and I've been a unit owner at Westmaren for nearly a decade. I volunteer as our Neighborhood Watch Coordinator because I care a great deal about our community. While some owners have taken action to prevent crime on our property, most have remained silent. Criminals are acting on our community apathy, but we can change this.
This summer, I introduced a Neighborhood Watch program to Westmaren and outstanding community members joined together to patrol our property. Our presence successfully lowered crime and expensive property damage compared to previous summers. Currently, there is an increase in crime on our property and we need more unit owners involved to continue the success of this program. Preventive measures are truly the responsibility of every owner. If you would like to join us in keeping our home safe for ourselves and our families, please contact me at:.
